LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police sources have uncovered a drug supply network in Lahore allegedly operating on a model similar to the network previously associated with Pinky, with suspects in registered drug cases revealing the name of a weed and ice supplier. According to police sources, suspects arrested in drug-related cases disclosed the name of a dealer involved in supplying weed and ice. The drugs are allegedly being supplied to Lahore from Islamabad. Police records identify a major dealer of weed and ice as Ahmed alias Peer Lala Khan, a resident of Islamabad’s E-11 area. Police sources said a lack of coordination between Islamabad and Lahore police has also prevented the arrest of Ahmed alias Peer Lala Khan. Sources said the alleged dealer supplies drugs specifically to Lahore. According to police sources, Ahmed alias Peer Lala is allegedly supplying weed and ice to members of high society in upscale areas of Lahore, including Defence, Gulberg, Model Town, Garden Town and Cavalry. Police sources said drug dealers have divided not only areas but also cities among themselves to operate their networks. According to CCD police sources, just as Pinky allegedly operated from Lahore to supply drugs to Karachi, Ahmed alias Peer Lala Khan is allegedly operating from Islamabad to supply drugs to Lahore. Police sources said Ahmed alias Peer Lala Khan has allegedly been involved in the drug supply business in Lahore for a long period.
