DADU (Dunya News) – Eight people were killed and three others injured in an exchange of fire between two groups in the riverine area of Dadu following a dispute over land and the construction of a passage. According to police, the two communities were involved in a land dispute and an argument broke out over creating a passage, after which both sides opened fire. Police said eight people were killed in the firing while three others sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the firing incident in Goth Dano Chandio and expressed grief over the loss of precious human lives. The chief minister extended his condolences and sympathies to the families of those killed in the incident. Murad Ali Shah sought a report from the Inspector General of Police and directed authorities to bring the suspects involved in the incident to justice immediately. The chief minister said no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
